No Stamping ...

Hi peeps....
It's a windy one today! We sure have been spoiled by the nice warm weather we have had. We need to face it - winter is just around the corner! And with that comes snow and Christmas! I say, "no" to snow; "yea" to Christmas!

So - along that line I made two cards today ... a Winter Hello and a Christmas card!
Some of my friends have picked up some new dies from various vendors and they have given me lots of "card candy" to play with! Thanks, friends! :0

This first card is a Winter Hello using Stampin' Up! CS and DSP ... so simple.

I decided to put some of the DSP inside with a corner piece ... maybe I will stamp on it - and maybe I won't...

Here is the Christmas card - again I used S. Up! CS and DSP (Cherry Cobbler and White) ... this one is blank inside as well, for  now.

Well, I hope you enjoyed your peek here today. Stay warm.

Four Feathers Birthday

Good Morning Peeps!
This is a beautiful Fall day... and the colors are spectacular!

I have a quick post this  morning - I need to make some Birthday Cards ... so here is one I have come up with. I used Mossy Meadows, Pear Pizzazz, and Whisper White and did the emboss resist technique. I quite like this card! Hopefully today I will get a chance to make the same card in a couple different colors! Stay tuned for further developments. :0

This is the inside of this card -

I really like this stamp set - and can see it being used in many ways.

Have a wonderful day!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi All!
Well! Here it is ... Thanksgiving weekend in Canada! I know I have lots to be thankful for -- what about you? Even in the midst of "junk" there is always something to be thankful for!

I have neglected the blog this week but it has been a busy week for me. I have been finishing up my commitment to make some cards for Anchors of Hope - here are a couple of pics of what I have been up to.
I am not the kind of gal who can mass produce many cards that are all the same! I have done that before for swaps and it drives me crazy cuz I want to put a different spin on each card. I hear some demos talk of choosing a card for their Christmas card and making 20 or 30 or more of the same card. Not me! So - if you receive a card from me, know that it is unique! One of a kind!   ;0

But ..... I do have a card to share made from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set. I love this set! And that is my decorating style and just me in general ..... ECLECTIC!

We actually made this card a  couple weeks ago at Kreations Kard Klub.
I hope you enjoyed your peek here today! Have a wonderful weekend ... and remember, it is about the relationships and fun ... not the food! (Though that is going to be some good!)

Hugs...

"Holiday Home" and a Doodle!

Hey there!
Another beautiful day! yea!
Just a quick post as I am on the run ....

Here is a card I made when I first received this Holiday Home set.... it is so versatile! I had fun creating a scene ... and of course, a little coloring.

And - I have begun doodling again... don't know why I haven't done it for a while but a few weeks ago I picked up my book and pen and off I went. Now - I'm not going to show you all of them - but this one is particularly special to me. One night I did the frame and had no idea what to put inside it; the next night I just doodled" not knowing what the outcome would be. And after I was finished.... the Words just popped there! This has sort of been my mantra for a long time now and I SO believe that HE IS ABLE! Many Scriptures tell us this - you will see just one of them noted on the doodle if you look closely I don't usually add color to my doodles but have been looking on Pinterest - oh my goodness! Some beauties there!

I hope you enjoyed you peek here today - I am going to the Kraft Korner to make a few more cards for Anchors of Hope; and then running some errands.

Flower Patch Birthday

Hi everyone! Here it is .... TGIF !!! Yea!
Now that I am retired it doesn't have the same significance as it did when I worked! And I don't mean that everyday is Friday when one is retired but not having to be up and out and "on" all week certainly has something to say for itself! !!!!! So the TGIF goes out to all you working people!

I have 2 cards to share today - both made with the Flower Patch bundle ...
This first one is a single layer of white CS on which I stamped the different flowers and leaves and then adhered to the colored CS  ...

With the second card I stamped the flowers and leaves and then cut them out with the framelits and layered them - I also used the sunburst from Kinda Eclectic in the upper corner.

You can see the layering in this photo -

so - I am off to play in my Korner today. Seems I haven't been there all week.
Have a wonderful weekend!
